Multimedia
The Library Media Center desktop computers have software for photo, audio, and video editing. Please bring headsets or earbuds when working with sound. If doing a group project that requires more interaction, please reserve the LMC computer lab when possible so as not to disturb other students. |
Chromebook Help Desk
The library media center circulation desk is the place for you to bring your Chromebook should you be having any technical issues, or questions (see below for troubleshooting help). You may use the power sources to charge if need be, but as a rule, you will need to bring your own charger. If repairs are needed that require leaving your device, one will be checked out to you during the repair period if available. You will be responsible for the device on loan, the same as your own. If for some other reason you cannot use your own Chromebook, there will be a limited number available to rent for the day for a fee. You may always use the desktop computers following standard library media center guidelines. For more information, email [email protected]. |
Issue?
Chromebooks differ from most laptops in that they are designed to be predominantly internet driven through Chrome, allowing them to power up much faster with fewer driver problems or software glitches. If you happen to encounter an issue, first try holding the power button in a few seconds to power down your device. Upon logging back in, if the problem isn't solved, bring it by the media center for assistance. See below for additional tips for using your Chromebook more effectively.
